Tui begins 2018 halving its seasonal losses

During the period 3,581 million euros turnover, implying a rise of 9.1% over the 3.282 million euros in the previous year, being particularly relevant the increase for the segment of cruise ships, that means 26.6 percent, reaching 192,3 million of euros. As reported Tuesday news HOSTELTUR TUI tourism reinforces its commitment to the cruise and Spain plays a large role, this segment is becoming increasingly important to the company. In fact, cruises and hotels themselves are already 55% of profits per year, about 1,100 million euros. In the case of the hotel product, billing has risen in this first quarter by 2.5%, to 144.8 billion euros. However, in terms of the underlying EBITDA, hotels raise the positive outcome in an 83.5%, leaving in 90.3 million euros, which has been favored by an excellent level of occupancy and rates. For cruises, as you can see in the following computer graphics group, underlying EBITDA climbs 34.5% to 37.5 million euros. For bookings for the summer, rising by 8% over the previous year, in line with forecasts by the group, with one 4.4% increase in customers.  .
