Preferred hotels resorts exceeds 900 m a in reserves by 2015

Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest supplier of sales, marketing and distribution services to independent luxury hotels, has closed 2015 marking an important milestone in its 48-year history to generate 1.011 billion dollars (928 million euros) in reserves to their hotels member around the world, with an increase of 15% over the previous year.

Preferred Hotel Group grouped all its brands into one last March, according to published News HOSTELTUR tourism initiative that marked the beginning of its new consumer-centric strategy, in addition to welcoming 91 hotels in 35 countries to its global portfolio.

, Its President and CEO, Lindsey Ueberroth, has shown its firm commitment to “offer experiences and innovative travel services without neglecting the integrity of the brand”, besides “go specifying the multiple growth opportunities and collaboration that will bring 2016″.

With the introduction of its new brand architecture, the company initiated activities to promote recognition of the Group and give more visibility to its portfolio. These programs included a public relations tour by 14 countries in charge of Ueberroth and other key executives, in order to show the purpose of the new Preferred Hotels & Resorts; the launch of Preferred Travel magazine, which is available in 650 member hotels of the brand in 85 countries around the world; as well as presenting #ThePreferredLife, a campaign on social networking that encourages travelers to share unique and memorable travel moments. Also at the end of the year it will be released a brand new advertising campaign and carry out changes to its web page.

Preferred Hotels & Resorts has also expanded its global portfolio to offer more options in key destinations. In 2015 the brand went for the first time in Israel, Ecuador and Anguilla, in the Lesser Antilles, with the additions of The Carlton Tel Aviv, Royal Palm Hotel Galapagos and Zemi Beach House Resort & Spa, respectively, and reinforced its brand in destinations like Barcelona, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Florida and Seoul.

Other properties that have joined the portfolio include Wanda reign in the Bund (Shanghai), Bernini Palace Hotel (Florence), Nomo Soho (New York), Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort (Monaco), The Cove Eleuthera (Bahamas), Carlton Ambassador (the Hague), Nassima Royal Hotel (Dubai), Hotel Mousai (Puerto Vallarta), Discovery Shores Boracay (Philippines), QF Hotel Dresden (Germany) and Hotel Emma (San Antonio (, Texas).
