Nh hotel group expansion 19 projects in 13 countries
NH Hotel Group has 19 projects in 13 countries, whose openings are planned for the next four years, having as priorities in its expansion the European capitals, Latin America and China, as detailed in Fitur Hugo Rovira, director general of the Spain business unit , Andorra and Portugal.
Its expansion strategy is complemented by its commitment to the product premium and repositioning plan, which ended with 14 renovated hotels in Spain, of which three have gone brand NH Collection, in addition to register changes of category 3 to 4-star and 4-5 in 2015.
In 2016 will continue with the same line of action, so that other six hotels will go to its Collection: the NH Liberdade Lisbon, NH Sanvy, which will be renamed NH Collection Columbus; the NH Palacio de Vigo, the NH Gran Hotel CalderÃ³n, which will pass from 4 to 5 stars and will become its flagship in Barcelona; the hotel Sweden that also will go up to 5 stars with the name of NH Collection Cibeles; and the Barcelona NH Podium.
In this way the group will end 2016 with 24 establishments NH Collection on the Peninsula, which currently has 50 in 12 countries.
Investment in reforms amounts to 237 million euros and 72% of the amount will focus on the range Collection.
