Luxury agencies point to spain among the fastest growing destinations
Virtuoso, group of U.S. origin which integrates travel agent specialized in luxury tourism around the world has identified the destinations that will grow most in demand in 2015, according to the data of its members for the first quarter. Spain shows an increase of 20%.
According to the data collected for bookings between January and March this year by the group, the destination where most grows more demand for the luxury segment is Singapore, with 155%. It is followed by New Zealand, with 95%; Aruba, with 36%; Israel, with 32%; Puerto Rico, 24%; the Virgin Islands, 23%; France, 22%; While Bahamas and Chile are equal to Spain with 20%.
However, the top 10 is made up of Mexico, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Argentina, United Kingdom, Costa Rica, South Africa, Hong Kong and Chile.
Virtuoso is a commercial or management group born in United States, and implantation in North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and from last December also in Europe. Habits according to generations
The so-called babyboomers (from 50 to 65 years) represent the main type of customers for luxury agencies, although growing the presence of Generation X (36 to 49 years), from the Senior(mayores de 65).
Data indicate that the Millennial (16 to 35 years) and those of generation X are decided more by (38% and 34%) tours and hotel stays (15%), while babyboomers and seniors opt more for Cruisers (26% and 42%).
In terms of expenditure, the higher is the seniors, reaching 11.077 dollars (9,700 euros) per person, which is 56% more than the Millennials, with an expenditure of $7.110 (6.267 euros). In the generation X worth 8.458 dollars (7.455 euros) and the babyboomers 9.907 dollars (8.743 euros).
