Daaz ferran and antonio mata investigated by 417 m a of aerolaneas argentinas
The national Fernando Andreu audience judge will investigate the former President of the employer CEOE, Gerardo DÃaz FerrÃ¡n and its exsocio Antonio Mata for allegedly appropriating of 453 million dollars (417,89 million euros) to the State company for industrial participations (SEPI) awarded in 2001 to his company, Air Comet, so bring them in from the “implementation of an industrial plan” in the newly acquired Aerolineas Argentinas.
Thus consists in a car in which the judge admits to process a complaint presented by this latter company against DÃaz FerrÃ¡n, Mata and Air Comet as legal person and it indiciariamente imputes the crimes of misappropriation, money laundering, embezzlement and forgery.

The complainants submit that, far from starting the industrial plan and allocate the money of the SEPI in the payment of liabilities for contingencies, the defendants “made herself such amounts by an operation of clearing of debts with other amounts owed by Air Comet to Aerolineas Argentinas, through commercial accounts that existed between the two companies that were part of the so-called Group Marsans“, in which these companies were integrated.
Also point to that, “for accounting purposes and in order to justify to the Court of Auditors the destination” for which had been delivered them subsidies, which were approved by the Council of Ministers, the defendants presented “several certifications of auditor” prepared by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
The complainants recall that the national court sentenced in December 2013 Diaz Ferran to two years and two months in prison for a tax crime committed in this operation although they point out that the cause was only focused on aid from SEPI of 319 million dollars for the payment of liabilities.
“I.e. in total were three payments by SEPI, the first of them already prosecuted, the other two payments being the object of the complaint”, picks up the car before point that prosecutors now have documentation that lacked in the previous procedure.

Similarly, claiming PriceWaterhouseCoopers to provide certifications of audit issued to prove the fate of the 248 million dollars delivered to Air Comet for the execution of the industrial plan as well as the target of 205 million dollars for the balance of transfer settings, provided all the aforementioned contract of sale in.
