Andalusia new general director of quality innovation and development of tourism

The Government Council of the Junta de Andalucía has approved the appointment of Mariano Ruiz Araujo as the new general director of quality, innovation and development of tourism.

Mariano Ruiz Araujo is a Bachelor’s degree in administration and business management from the University of Malaga (UMA) and holds a Master of applied sociology and a Master of teachers of compulsory secondary education. Born in 1985, was part of the cloister and the Council Social of the UMA.

After taking possession of his office, Mariano Ruiz Araujo, said that the tourism industry has been a “raft of stability” in the context of crisis and opted to continue as economic engine, as reported by the Board.

quality CEO noted that Andalusia is a “unique” destinationcapable of contributing to the tourists ’experiences in a variety of segments’.

Stated, however, that “we have to move forward in the diversification of the offer, professionalism and excellence”.

the new general director of quality, innovation and development of tourism has developed her professional career as a technician of Cabinet in the Ministry of economy, innovation, science and employment (2013) and has been teaching as a Professor of Economics at the Institute of secondary education Garden City (2012), of Malaga.
